Overview

Are you a dedicated and energetic individual looking for a fulfilling career opportunity? Our highly reputable and fast-paced workers' compensation and personal injury law firm is currently seeking a full-time experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team immediately. This position is based in our Gaithersburg office and offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development. Experience in a similar position is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Workers' Compensation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys and providing exceptional support to our clients. Some key responsibilities will include :

  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate case notes in our advanced case management system
  • Efficiently handling the opening and processing of cases / files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained
  • Client communications
  • Requesting and organizing supporting documentation
  • Filing necessary forms and documents with the MD Workers' Compensation Commission
  • Prepare cases for hearings

    • Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications :

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications to streamline administrative tasks
  • Strong multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of work independently
  • Composure in fast-paced situations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive and can-do attitude that fosters teamwork and a supportive work environment

    • Pay : $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
