POSITION DESCRIPTION :
As a Bartender / Server at the Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, preparing beverages, delivering food and beverages with impeccable attention to detail. Your role is pivotal in creating an extraordinary dining experience, anticipating guests' needs, and offering personalized service that makes them feel valued. You will engage with guests in a refined and genuine manner, ensuring each interaction is thoughtful and memorable. Your attention to detail, along with your ability to seamlessly deliver anticipatory service, will contribute to the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional hospitality and luxury service standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Bartender / Server, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :
Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks suing standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. Check guests for proper identification. Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring a personalized and attentive service experience.Demonstrate a genuine sense of interest in guests' needs, providing expert recommendations and creating a memorable dining experience.Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information and enhance the guest experience.Take food and beverage orders, input orders into the point-of-sale system, and ensure that all details are accurately captured.Retrieve and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that each order is presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or needs promptly and with a positive attitude.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest and personnel guests, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys. Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations.Keep your station well-stocked with necessary supplies to ensure a smooth service.Clearing and cleaning tables throughout the meal service, ensuring each table is prepared for the next guest with meticulous attention to detail and a seamless transition.What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.Minimum two years’ previous experience bartending / mixology at a restaurant.Knowledge of luxury food and beverage standards, ensuring the highest level of service and presentation.Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.Flexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcohol.Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixing of drinks.Able to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.Open minded and outgoing personality.Willing to work for long hours.Positive attitude.Must possess a valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training (e.g., TIPS) prior to being offered the position.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
