Constructs, maintains, and tests electric servo motor systems and componentsUses measuring and diagnostic tools to test, modify and repair electric servo motor unitsEnsures systems and components meet established specificationsMay be required to perform field service dutiesFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS :
Technical Degree or certifications in fields such as Electric motor repair, Industrial controls and PLCs desiredMinimum of 3 years of relevant servo motor repair work experience in a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in the testing and repair of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, electronic accessories, computer systems and electronic componentsAttention to detail and excellent communication skills; written and verbalAbility to use a computer (windows environment)Ability to work in a group as well as independentlyIn depth experience in troubleshooting and servicing a variety of production equipment with an emphasis on electric servo system equipmentA certain degree of creativity and latitude is requiredExperience with electrical systems, wiring, and equipmentKnowledge of the NEC standards regarding installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and componentsKnowledge of PLC programming and control systems is a plusKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical workExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsDriver’s LicenseOSHA 10 or higherWillingness to travel 100%Willingness to keep up with industry developments and advancementBAUMUELLER NUERMONT CORP. is committed to providing a safe & drug-free work environment.
