      Job Overview

      As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide exceptional patient-centered care following the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You are responsible for delivering high-quality care according to established clinical protocols and physician / provider orders. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you will ensure effective patient care and achieve desired outcomes while creating a supportive environment for patients and their families.

      Key Responsibilities :

    • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with organizational policies and nursing standards.
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings, reporting any changes in condition to the care team.
    • Utilize knowledge of human growth and development to provide appropriate care and education.
    • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects, ensuring proper documentation.
    • Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining competence and a sterile environment.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and assess individualized care plans based on patient needs.
    • Respond to medical emergencies, participating in life-saving measures as appropriate.
    • Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they are included in care planning.
    • Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care, confirming understanding.
    • Implement infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
    • Monitor and operate medical equipment for effective patient care and safety.
    • Support patient safety initiatives, adhering to safety goals and maintaining a clean environment.
    • Participate in audits and compliance checks to uphold standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
    • Engage in professional development to uphold clinical competency and awareness of nursing standards.
    • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
    • Specialty Areas :

    • OR Services RN : Provide comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
    • Cardiac Surgery RN : Assess and monitor patients continuously, managing advanced life support systems and post-operative care.
    • PACU RN : Evaluate patients' recovery from anesthesia and manage post-operative care, providing education on post-surgery instructions.
    • Qualifications :

    • 0-2 years of experience in a clinical setting or relevant clinical rotations required.
    • Skills and Abilities :

    • Strong knowledge of clinical nursing practices and the nursing process.
    • Effective assessment and communication skills.
    • Proficient in medication administration and monitoring.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of safety standards and infection control practices.
    • Licenses and Certifications :

    • Current RN Licensure (State Licensure and / or Compact State Licensure) required.
    • BCLS Certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred.
