Security Professional Flex - Manufacturing Patrol

As a Security Professional Flex - Manufacturing Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support both employees and visitors. Pay Rate : $27.10 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents or evacuations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
