Job Title : Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Duration : 10 weeks with possible extension

Travel Requirements : Maybe - two on-site meetings

Specific Job Functions :

Design VPCs, subnets, firewalls and IAM policies

Plan for high availability, disaster recovery and performance

Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure) to support the migration of on-premises data center workloads.

Lead cloud migration strategy, including workload assessment, application dependency mapping, and migration planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, compliance, networking, and application development to ensure seamless migration.

Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, including cost optimization, tagging policies, and resource management.

Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2).

Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.

Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services to replace legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's preferred.

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 3+ years in cloud architecture and migration.

Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and hybrid cloud environments.

Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and identity management in cloud contexts.

Deep knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
