Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Plano, TX

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in Plano, TX. This role requires proficiency in assisting with interventional radiology procedures, patient care, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will possess stg technical abilities, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced enviment.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, drain placements, and other minimally invasive procedures

Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards

Position and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety

Administer contrast agents as directed and observe patients for adverse reactions

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging data in the EMR

Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental protocols at all times

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care

Ensure all supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly prepared and available for procedures

Qualifications :

• Current Texas License
• ARRT (R) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Tech experience
• BLS certification
