Hourly Pay Rate : $ 11.00 + 5.50 Tips = $16.50 per hour as minimum (DOE and state)
Gjelina Restaurant in Noho on Bond St. is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team!

Position Summary :
As a Bartender, you’ll be part of a team that creates high-quality experiences for guests. You will manage all beverages, maintain bar cleanliness, and interact with guests to ensure excellent service. Teamwork, flexibility, multitasking, and staying calm in a busy setting are essential.
Key Responsibilities :
Report on time and manage shift duties according to labor laws.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Build rapport with regulars and encourage new guests.
Take orders, make recommendations, and input orders accurately into the POS system.
Ensure smooth communication between service staff and management.
Perform opening and closing duties, including stocking and cleaning.
Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Know the menu, including food and drink offerings, and assist with pairings.
Attend training sessions and adhere to alcohol control, health, and safety protocols.

Qualifications :

Experience with restaurant POS systems.
Certifications Required :
NYC Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
New York Alcohol Training Awareness Program.
Physical Demands :
Stand, lift, bend, and walk for long periods (8-12 hours).
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Climb stairs, kneel, bend, and crouch as needed.
Work in fast-paced, varying conditions (temperature, noise).
Work Environment :
Moderate noise levels and possible exposure to wet, hot, or slippery conditions.
