Sales Associate / Kitchen Help
Reports to the Store General Manager
Job Overview :
The Sales Associate / Kitchen help performs the day-to-day convenience store operations. The Sales Associate / Kitchen help is a vital member of our organization, playing an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for customers and a great work environment for team members. The self-motivated, service-oriented individual will be accountable for demonstrating exceptional customer service and a team-oriented mindset. Works on cleaning and stocking to ensure the store is ready for the next shift.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Register sales on the cash register.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, charge, or credit card payments from customers and makes changes for cash customers if necessary.
- Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Generate accurate till reports for each register.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform procedures to ensure the store is clean and stocked.
Qualifications :
Some high school education is preferred.Specific skills :Effective communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.Strong work ethic.Positive AttitudeBasic math skillsAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Able to stand for the duration of the shift.Able to reach above your head to grab products.
