Coordinate and oversee construction activities in conjunction with the general contractor, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications. Ensure compliance with federal lease requirements. Validate and ensure completeness of construction project documentation, including contracts, permits and drawings, as well as compliance with local building codes and regulations. A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field is preferred. 7+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and building codes. Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing, as well as strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of risk and issue management and budget management principles. Experience in managing large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of jurisdictional construction regulations, permits, and approval processes. Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control. The ability to adapt to different situations and personalities.
Job Description
Client located in Denver, Colorado is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for working with firm leadership and internal / external project teams to ensure the participation of cross-functional stakeholders in delivering successful projects.
Responsibilities :
- Planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Aligning project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with federal lease terms / client requirements.
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and managing general contractor performance to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Liaising with tenant end-user government agencies, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with federal lease specifications and quality standards.
