Security Professional - Commercial Real Estate Site Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Professional in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, offer outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with tenants and visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and being active throughout their shift. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the location as required.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
