As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Morning Shift in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will interact with individuals in a professional manner, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and / or vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Assist visitors and employees with access control procedures, providing information and direction as needed.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
