Job Title : Applications Consultant

DAX Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking Software Developers with BFSI, Supply Chain domain experience, Legacy Data Migration, and ETL tools knowledge. The role involves working with Dynamics 365 F&O, Integration, Technical Architecture, Code migration, go-live management, AX2012 R3, SSRS, and data management.

The position will primarily involve interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Data Migration & Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will contribute to creating high-level design artifacts, deliver high-quality code, lead validation for testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for migration to Dynamics 365.
  • Create requirements documentation and participate in requirements elicitation.
  • Develop application architecture documents aligned with architectural requirements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing system configurations, customizations, and extensions using C# and X++ / JavaScript.
  • Create design artifacts and support prototyping through POCs.
  • Understand legacy ERP data structures, define migration scope, select ETL tools, and develop data migration strategies.
  • Develop Informatica Cloud IDMC / IICS mappings and design data integration workflows.
  • Deliver high-quality code, support peer reviews, and create user documentation.
  • Lead validation activities across various testing types.
  • Support 'Go Live' planning and manage related activities.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of post-implementation issues and resolve them.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, prepare system documentation, and support transition.
  • Conduct impact analysis of issues and ensure support as per SLAs.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering / computer-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data migrations, integration using ETL tools like Informatica.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O ERP.
  • At least 2 years of Cloud experience (AWS / Azure).
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with senior leadership and teams.

    • Knowledge / Skill Requirements

  • Understanding of data architecture, data integration, and data quality.
  • Experience with Relational and Dimensional Modeling, unstructured data modeling.
  • Proven experience as a Dynamics AX or D365 Consultant, focusing on migration and upgrade projects.
  • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Cloud IDMC / IICS, especially API and ODBC data integrations.
  • Strong skills in designing and developing data migration solutions.
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems and data movement technologies.
  • Advanced SQL database and query skills.
  • Knowledge of CDC and CT mechanisms.
  • Experience with data normalization and denormalization.
  • Preferred : Cloud technologies and DevOps experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 are a plus.
