CIS Engineer - Data Protection

A company is looking for a CIS Engineer - Data Retention & Protection.

Key Responsibilities

Manage data classifiers in Microsoft Purview to ensure data security and compliance

Oversee the administration of security software and tools

Lead and participate in security engineering projects to enhance security posture

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience

3-5 years of experience in information security, focusing on data classification and software administration

Experience with Microsoft Security in Azure, data engineering, and infrastructure engineering

Strong knowledge of data classification systems and security software administration

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred
