Responsibilities
- Assisting with Repairs and Maintenance : Working under the supervision of a senior mechanic, a helper mechanic will assist with routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs on commercial laundry equipment.
- Equipment Operation : Operating and maintaining various laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, presses, and conveyors, ensuring they function efficiently.
- Part Replacement And Installation : Replacing worn or defective parts, assisting with installation of new equipment, and ensuring proper alignment and adjustment of machinery.
- Inspection And Cleaning : Performing routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems, cleaning parts and work areas, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Documentation And Reporting : Assisting with the preparation of service reports, documenting repairs, and maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance.
- Other Duties : Performing other duties as assigned, which may include assisting with installation, troubleshooting, or general maintenance tasks within the laundry facility.
- Safety Compliance : Adhering to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.
