Software Engineer Associate

Location : Tucson, AZ (hybrid)

Duration : 1 year, extendable

This is a hybrid position. You will be required to be in the Tucson office Tuesday Thursday, and will be allowed to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays

Job Summary :

Designs and develops staining procedures (you will be trained in this) in close partnership with assay development.

Develops software supplements that install staining procedures along with the underlying database elements required to the support staining procedure(s) in the software application.

Delivers projects on time in a fast paced environment.

Mentored on the use of software tools and editing staining procedures

Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.

MUST-HAVE Qualifications

0-5 years of industry experience (biotech, pharma)

Experience with Programming

Strong leadership and organizational

Ability to plan project components and effectively report status to stakeholders.

Knowledge of creating software documentation for a medical device .(regulated industry)

Knowledge of software databases

Experience with scripting languages SQL -Lite is preferred, but other scripting languages will be accepted

Ability to create project documentation that is complete, consistent, and usable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of or familiarity with project management tools (such as Smart Sheets, MS Project, or Trello).

Ability to create / edit written procedures and document work accurately.

Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time.

Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals

Having a background in biology or chemistry would be helpful to understand the science involved with the process

Must have a 4 year degree preferably in Engineering (preferred), Biology, or Chemistry
