About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : MRI Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10.5 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; travel experience preferred.

License : ARRT, ODH certification required.

Certifications : BLS certification required through AHA.

Must-Have :

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• GE equipment experience.
• Availability to work every other holiday.

Description :

Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.

Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certification / licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.

Exercises professional judgment in performing duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.

May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.

May have on-call responsibilities.

RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; no RTO will be added after the offer.

RTO approval will be at the manager's discretion.

No more than 14 days of RTO are allowed.

Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.

Lab work must be completed promptly or a solid ETA for completion must be provided.

An EKG / Dysrhythmia exam must be completed as required.

Submittal must include all necessary documentation.

All schedule requests and start dates need to be clearly stated in the application.

A compact license is now accepted.

Facility has regulations in place regarding past license actions.

Module hours are self-reported to the manager and must be completed during orientation and annually.
