About the Role :
As a GU Oncologist at our institution, you'll play a leading role in our academic-focused Hematology / Oncology department :
- Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students, fostering their growth and development through research-driven multi-disciplinary care.
- Lead clinical trial research initiatives, collaborating with bench researchers and publishing groundbreaking findings as primary authors.
- 50% protected time (minimum) for incoming faculty
- Primarily manage prostate cancer cases
- Make a direct impact in combating prostate cancer, which represents 14.4% of all new cancer cases in Louisiana
