Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location : San Jose, CA (On-site)

Type : Part-Time

Compensation : $48 / hour, with paid benefits and PTO / holidays

Part-time available (4 hours set time within 7am to 4pm timeframe)

About the Role

As an RN or LVN at Lincoln Glen Manor, you will play a key role in delivering quality, resident-centered nursing care. You will supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensure compliance with clinical standards, and provide hands-on care that fosters dignity, independence, and well-being for seniors. This role offers the opportunity to join a close-knit team that values flexibility, support, and genuine community.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise CNAs, establish work procedures, prepare schedules, and counsel / discipline staff as needed.

Deliver nursing care to residents, including admission assessments, interim care plans, and daily monitoring.

Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects, drug interactions, and contraindications.

Respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately.

Maintain accurate clinical records, files, and incident reports.

Confer with residents and families to ensure clear communication and understanding of care.

Conduct daily rounds and ensure residents are aware of available services.

Maintain accountability for controlled substances.

Support facility supply systems and overall nursing operations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Active state licensure as RN or LVN.

IV certification and current CPR card.

Knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities.

Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, and push / pull up to 50 lbs.

Proof of permission to work in the United States.
