Job Description
This is a confidential search on behalf of a healthcare client seeking a proactive and customer-focused Receptionist / Patient Advocate to support front office operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and able to manage a variety of administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and assist with check-in, intake forms, and general inquiries.
Maintain a clean, organized office environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
Enter patient data into electronic systems and update profiles as needed.
Process checkouts and transactions using POS systems or cash logs.
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
Manage patient communications, including voicemails, emails, and appointment scheduling.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of office activities.
Support patients with paperwork and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with lead calls, appointment bookings, and renewals.
Operate and troubleshoot office equipment (computers, phones, printers, scanners, etc.).
Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting daily office functions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
MediClear credential, Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP), or a recognized equivalent compliance certification required.
Strong communication, typing, and phone etiquette skills.
Basic computer proficiency with ability to manage electronic systems.
2 years of customer service or office management experience preferred.
Must be available for day shifts.
