Key Position Details :

• 0.8 FTE (64 hours every two-week pay period)
• 8-hour, day / evening shifts
• Every 4th weekend rotation

Job Description :

Provides optimal pharmaceutical care for patients and oversees drug distribution systems.

Principle Responsibilities

Ensures safe, timely and cost-effective utilization of medications.

Evaluates appropriate medical dose, route, frequency and administration.

Counsels patients and care-givers on all new medications and on refills and OTC products, as needed.

Provides clinical pharmacotherapeutic recommendations for patient care and / or cost efficiency medication decisions based on procedure or scope of practice.

Completes controlled substance audits as directed.

Pay Range

Pay Range : $59.75 to $82.67 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
