SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The 9-Week Summer Nurse Extern Program runs from June 16, 2025, to August 8, 2025.

The summer Nurse Externship is a 9-week program for bachelor's, associate’s, and diploma degree nursing students entering their senior year.

The program begins with a one-week orientation including both classroom and clinical components, in which the nurse extern performs basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures.

Responsible to a Registered Nurse for performing basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures.

The expectation of this position is 40 hours per week, five (8)hour shifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

Nursing student of an accredited Nursing Program and one clinical rotation, or a Graduate Nurse without Boards required.
