Position Overview
HealthyU Clinics is seeking a Clinical Operations Supervisor for our Specialty staff. This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of outpatient medical practices. This position will also assist in ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while driving operational efficiency, clinical excellence, staff engagement, and financial performance. The Supervisor collaborates closely the Clinical managers as well as providers, support staff, administrative leaders, and external partners to meet clinical quality standards, regulatory compliance, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes, operational performance, and care delivery.
- Oversee implementation and management of quality improvement programs, and other regulatory benchmarks.
- Collaborate with providers and other clinical management staff to ensure operational standards.
- Manage portfolio MAs, and front office staff to foster a high-functioning, team-based environment throughout various clinics.
- Assist in daily operations of outpatient specialty clinics, including integrated services.
- Supervise specialty clinic schedules, payroll, supply ordering, and financial reporting to ensure strong budget to actual performance.
- Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
- Serve as the compliance liaison, ensuring readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory adherence.
- Assist in efforts to optimize the patient experience through data monitoring, service recovery, and staff coaching.
- Assist in ensuring we maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement, using data to identify and address trends.
- Assist with training and support for specialty clinical staff maintaining readiness to backfill staff positions as needed.
- Cultivate a supportive and cooperative work culture that promotes safety and ensures compliance with workplace standards.

Qualifications
Daily travel to clinics is requiredMedical Assistant Certification requiredAssociates degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred, orA minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead MA or clinical leadership position in a physician practice requiredExperience in Office Based Lab and / or Ambulatory Surgery Centers highly preferredCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredStrong leadership, collaboration, and staff development skillsAbility to manage complex clinical operations and budgetsExcellent organizational, communication, and analytical abilitiesEMR proficiency (Athena experience highly preferred)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environmentReliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations as neededProlonged standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
