Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Manufacturing Process & Packaging Engineer in the Engineering industry. This exciting role is perfect for a driven, detail-oriented individual with a passion for process improvement and a keen eye for quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, from conception to completion, with a focus on food manufacturing. This includes developing and implementing process strategies, managing safety protocols, meeting performance targets, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality control.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement manufacturing process strategies to meet company objectives for quality, cost, and schedule.

2. Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, from conception to completion, ensuring all products are produced to the highest standards of quality and safety.

3. Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all staff members and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

4. Monitor and manage performance targets to ensure all goals are met or exceeded.

5. Work closely with the production team to develop and implement effective scheduling strategies, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting of all deadlines.

6. Oversee the packaging process, ensuring all products are packaged to the highest standards of quality and safety.

7. Implement and manage cost-effective strategies, ensuring all projects are completed within budget and contributing to the overall profitability of the company.

8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of all manufacturing processes.

9. Continually review and improve manufacturing processes and packaging strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.

3. Demonstrated experience in managing safety protocols and meeting performance targets.

4. Proven track record in developing and implementing effective scheduling strategies.

5. Strong understanding of cost management and budgeting.

6. Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.

8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.

9. Proficiency in relevant software and technology.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

11. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
