Principal Applications Engineer - Power Electronics, on-site north of Boston

Join a global leader in advanced power electronics solutions as a Principal Applications Engineer. In this high-impact, customer-facing role, you'll partner with Tier 1 customers, influence next-generation product design, and ensure seamless integration from concept to mass production.

Key Responsibilities :

Engage key customers to secure design wins and deliver tailored solutions.

Develop technical documentation, application notes, and training for global Field Application Engineers.

Research market needs and define requirements for new applications.

Collaborate with Product Design Engineering on roadmap development.

Conduct system-level testing and drive product improvements.

Oversee creation of evaluation boards, models, and reference designs aligned with product launches.

Qualifications :

BSEE with 10+ years in power electronics design / applications.

Proven success with Tier 1 customers and complex system troubleshooting.

Proficient with bench tools (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, EMI test equipment).

Skilled with simulation tools (Pspice, SIMetrix / Simplis, MATLAB, Excel, Mathcad).
