Construction Estimator

BRIEF DESCRIPTION :

The Construction Estimator plays a key role in BluSky's centralized estimating team. This is a highly collaborative position that will regularly work with all members of the sales and operations team to drive accurate, timely, and competitive construction estimates.

Salary Range : $70,000 - $85,000

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review project documentation to determine scope of work.
• Prepare and manage multiple construction estimates at a time in appropriate estimating software.
• Prepare final approved estimating documents.
• Assist with budget creation and occasional cost estimates.
• Lead project kick-off and final review meetings on larger complex construction projects.
• Maintain continuous communication with the project team about estimating status and log status notes weekly.
• Reports to the Chief Estimator with technical questions regarding projects.
