Overview
Managing Consultant, Services Business Development-Community Institutions at Mastercard. This role is part of the Business Development team and focuses on generating excitement and demand for Mastercard Services solutions within Community Institutions in the USFI portfolio. The role involves managing a portfolio of strategic clients, building on existing relationships, initiating new ones, and promoting Mastercard Services to drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong working relationships with clients, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement while driving revenue growth and expanded buying centers.
- Demonstrate networking skills and confidently initiate contact with new prospects to generate and qualify leads.
- Uncover customer needs beyond explicit requests and craft innovative customer strategies with a customer-first attitude.
- Own the sales process from prospecting to executing commercial contracts, ensuring seamless sales cycles and urgency with clients.
- Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and sales projections, delivering strong personal performance.
- Lead formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding to face-to-face presentations, tailoring materials to the audience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine engagement scope aligned with business objectives and client requirements.
- Support project and customer success teams in problem-solving and structuring project workplans.
- Create and deliver concise presentations communicating key insights and recommendations.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members to foster professional growth.
- Continuously seek new knowledge and contribute to the organization\'s intellectual capital.
Qualifications
Sales experience in SaaS, data & analytics, consulting, and / or cybersecurity solutions.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges and gain credibility with account teams.Excellent written and oral communication and influencing skills.Exceptional relationship management and networker capabilities across relevant stakeholders.Commercial drive with the ability to monetize senior client relationships through empathy, thought leadership, product impact knowledge, and subject matter expertise.Ability to own end-to-end sales including prospecting, scoping / pricing, business case development, contract development, client negotiation, legal approvals, signing contracts, and project kickoff.Experience managing projects and / or teams demonstrating leadership abilities.Knowledge of the consumer and commercial payments market is a plus.High energy, initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.National salary range (applies regardless of location) : $139,000-$222,000.Benefits and Other Details
