Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Albertville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive experience for everyone on site. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $12.86 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 09 : 30 PM - 05 : 30 AM Sat 09 : 30 PM - 05 : 30 AM Sun 09 : 30 PM - 05 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and / or incidents.
  • Assist with crowd management and / or traffic flow as needed, especially during peak business hours or special events.
  • Remain alert and observant to changing conditions within the food and beverage environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer and / or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
