We are seeking a talented and driven Rive Animator to join our team as a Senior Creative, Motion. As a vital member of our creative department, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product design, and visual design to produce compelling interactive experiences.

This role will be located in one of our US offices : San Francisco, New York or Denver.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site — three days per week.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will :

• Build interactive animations for a personalized brand experience, translating creative visions into dynamic, scalable solutions.
• Test and champion new feature developments in Rive to bring complex data and brand stories to life.
• Bridge the gap between design and engineering, owning the technical setup, optimization, and seamless handover of Rive files.
• Contribute to building scalable motion systems and templates that will define our emerging design language.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering to efficiently connect code, design, and animation by using Figma and Rive.
• Improve our animation tool ecosystem through upgrades, automation solutions, and best practices.
• Make a direct and measurable impact on our business growth.

Compensation Overview

At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation : $158,000 - $167,000. This range reflects base compensation only and does not include equity or benefits. Your recruiter can share more details about the full compensation package, including the range specific to your location, during the hiring process.
