Position : ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environment.

Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies before procedures.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Adhere to all safety protocols and hospital policies during procedures.

Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning properly.

Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and results.

Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of surgical equipment and technology.

Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures.

Experience / Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical environment.

Excellent communication skills with patients and surgical team.

Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control.

Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in using surgical instruments and technology.

Ability to maintain accurate and detailed surgical records.
