Job Overview :

JunkOut is seeking a candidate to join our dynamic and growing company as a Dumpster Truck Driver. Our organization prioritizes safety, dependability, and exceptional customer service, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking a fulfilling career in the waste removal industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of dumpsters at various locations across the greater Fort Wayne area. A CDL is not required.

Responsibilities : Safety Focus :

  • Strong commitment to safety, with a track record of maintaining a safe work

environment.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies

    • related to waste disposal and transportation.

  • Drive and operate specialized dumpster equipment,ensuring the safety of yourself, your team, and the public at all times.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dumpster truck, promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

    • Skilled Junk Removal :

  • Collect and transport waste materials from designated locations to disposal sites.
  • Properly secure and cover the load in the dumpster to prevent spillage during transportation.

    • Route Coordination :

  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient collection
  • Collaborate with our dispatcher and office staff to plan and execute daily routes efficiently, considering customer requests and job priorities.

    • Professional Service :

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing top-notch customer service.

    • Record Keeping :

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of waste collected and disposal activities
  • Maintain accurate records of each job performed, including mileage, time logs, and other relevant information.

    • Dependability :

  • Consistently meet schedules, deadlines, and job commitments, demonstrating a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    • Qualifications : Licensure :

  • A CDL is NOT required for this role.

    • Experience :

  • Previous experience driving heavy machinery is preferred. The candidate must be able to operate specialized vehicles and equipment.

    • Physical Capability :

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.

    • Team Player :

  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, and a willingness to work early mornings and weekends.
