What We Are Looking For

We're hiring two IT Help Desk Support Specialists who will report to the IT Manager based in our Sarasota, FL office. One position will work at our Brooklyn Park, MN office, and the second position can be in Houston, TX, Cameron Park, CA, or Toa Baja / Caguas, Puerto Rico.

This is an entry-level position providing tiers I & II level technical support to our employees. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations by assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues. This position is ideal for someone beginning their career in IT support services as you will have the opportunity to work closely with the IT Manager, and other members of the IT team

You will be required to provide after-hours support, working a rotating shift schedule.

What You Will Do

• Apply basic technical knowledge to assist employees with computer problems to include troubleshooting routine systems, network and connectivity issues.
• Support users in maintaining smooth system operations and help them maximize system functionality under guidance.
• Provide basic support, including updating procedural documentation and contributing to reports.
• Use help desk tracking software to log issues and submit suggestions for system improvements.
• Follow task lists to prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Identify and report hardware or software faults.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and colleagues to build positive working relationships.
• Assist in conducting research to understand and help resolve technology issues.
• Provide basic communication updates to users affected by problems, utilizing MS Planner and SharePoint.
