Salary : 90k - 110k

The Senior Accountant at ViaOne Services will be responsible to perform financial, general and cost accounting functions. The primary focus will be on executing monthly financial closings, Revenue Billings, Payables, Inventory and Fixed Asset reconciliations including journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, cash variance analysis with timelines and accruals. The job requires solid knowledge of accounting processes and financial statements, reconciliations, project management, and reporting responsibilities. This position will support our C-Store operations so previous experience in C-Store, retail or food service accounting is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform financial, general and cost accounting functions for the company in accordance with GAAP and Corporate policies.
• Execute monthly financial closings including journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, and variance analysis with communicated timelines.
• Maintain cash flow trackers for various companies with forecast; Request advances of funds as needed while minimizing financing expenses.
• Assist in maintaining the Company's system of support documentation for all company transactions.
• Monthly and quarterly account analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax returns.
• Analyze customer behavior and profitability metrics via various software and databases.
• Assist in the development of financial reports such as but not limited to the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow reporting and ad-hoc requests.
• Processing payroll and preparing journal entries to assign to direct and indirect labor.
• Billing customers for work finalized through key milestones of the project.
• Other duties as needed by the business.
