Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job ID 34209360 ⏰ Schedule & Shift Details Shift : 9-hour day shifts Monday–Thursday (0700–1630 or 0600–1530) Call Requirements : Weeknight Call : 1–2 shifts / week (end of shift to 0700 next day) Weekend Call : 1 full weekend / month (Friday 0700 – Monday 0700) Holiday Call : Required Call Response Time : 15 minutes Floating : To other departments to assist (e.g., call lights, 1 : 1s), no patient load Orientation : 1 week Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Facility Requirements & Policies Location Type : Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Radius Rule : Must live 50 miles away Cannot be employed FT / PT / PRN at any CommonSpirit / CHI / Dignity facility in past 12 months Driver’s license required at submittal to verify address RTO : Max 7 days for entire contract Must be submitted upfront No additional RTO will be approved post-submission Cancellation Policy : Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment ‍⚕️ Unit & Clinical Details Department : Operating Room Suites : 6 ORs 1 GI suite Average Cases / Day : 6–10 (up to 20 max) Common Cases : Ortho : Total joints, ORIF, Arthroscopy OB / GYN : C-Sections, LAVH, D&C, diagnostic laparoscopy General Surgery : Lap appy, lap chole, ex lap, endoscopy Equipment : C-arm, Mako robot Patients : Adults, pediatrics, geriatrics, OB RN Scrubbing Required : No OR Techs : Yes Charge Nurse : No assignment Must-Have Experience : Ortho, GYN, general surgery 2 years OR RN experience Previous OR travel experience is required Certifications Required (All at Submission) BLS ACLS PALS ( No clinical involvement without all certifications submitted ) ️ Charting System EMR : Meditech Dress Code Scrubs Provided Facial Hair Policy (Fit Testing Required) : Must pass fit test with 3M Aura 1860 or 3M 1870 Portacount not allowed with facial hair No PAPR offered solely due to facial hair Failure = contract termination Education & License BSN : Not required Active RN License : Required and clean ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile OR RN with at least 2 years experience Strong background in Ortho, GYN, General Surgery Able to handle frequent call shifts and fast-paced OR flow Comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting No facial hair (if needing N95 fit testing) About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
