The Role
We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and highly efficient Social Media Manager to manage and grow multiple brand accounts. This is a 20-hour per week contract role with potential for increased hours over time. The role is hybrid (LA + virtual) and requires schedule flexibility to accommodate content shoots, brand needs, and timely engagement.
As the Social Media Manager, you’ll have the support of a Social Media Coordinator and future interns and report to both the Team Lead and the Founder / CEO.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more)
- Create engaging, trend-forward content using Canva (must be proficient) and other tools; Adobe Suite experience is a plus
- Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand voice
- Stay ahead of social media trends and create content that is relevant, timely, and shareable
- Engage with online communities, responding to DMs and comments in real-time
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, adjusting strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with our creative team for content shoots and campaign rollouts
- Occasionally attend in-person brand shoots or activations in LA
- 2+ years of social media experience, preferably in an agency or multi-brand setting
- Must be highly proficient in Canva and love creating engaging, relevant content
- Experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) is a plus
- Quick-thinking, adaptable, and always in the loop with social trends
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts efficiently
- Comfortable working with a flexible schedule to accommodate social media demands
- LA-based (and able to attend occasional in-person meetings and content shoots)
- Work with brands that are actually fun and culturally relevant
