What you will Do :

\tFirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities :

\tThe CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients.

\tThe CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.

\tOperates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

\tCollaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

What you will need :

\tAssociate’s degree or higher required.

\tEighteen (18) months of CT experience required.

\tCompletion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

\tCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (Note : American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)

\tWillingness to float throughout the hospital and / or throughout multiple hospital locations.

\tCannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements of a FirstChoice Nurse :

Registered nurse with a license in the state(s) you will work

Minimum of 2 years, depending on specialty area

Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
