As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential community areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role is both armed and requires driving, offering you the opportunity to interact with residents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat04 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PMSun04 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence as an armed patrol officer.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with residents, staff, and / or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and provide assistance.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.
  • Hold a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws or regulations.
  • Hold a Level III armed certification if working in Texas.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
