Job Title : Retail Digital Marketing Coordinator

Department : Grocery

FLSA : Exempt

General Function :

Responsible for developing and executing the advertising, marketing and communications strategy for a specified region of Hy-Vee, Inc. retail locations.

Accountable and Reports to : Director, Retail Marketing; District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics :

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related area, or equivalent work experience preferred. Proficiency with traditional marketing, including radio, television, newspaper, direct mail, out of home, and event marketing preferred. Five years of similar or related work experience.

Working Conditions :

The duties for this position are normally conducted in an office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Equipment Used to Perform Job :

Standard office equipment including phone, calculator, copier, fax, PC / Mac with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Contacts :

In daily contact with department managers, suppliers, vendors, customers, employees, general public, community, and local schools for donation request.

Confidentiality :

Has access to confidential information including knowledge of advertising rates, pricing information, and store sales.
