Overview
Lead a 37-bed cardiac stepdown unit in North Dallas / Collin County. Oversee ~60 FTEs and partner with a high-performing cardiovascular service line known for complex cardiac care and strong outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24 / 7 operational leadership for cardiac stepdown (PCU)
- Drive patient safety, quality metrics, and experience initiatives
- Hire, develop, schedule, and coach unit staff; support shared governance
- Manage budgets, productivity, and capital requests
- Ensure readiness for accreditation, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
- Advance evidence-based practice, throughput, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
Required
BSNActive Texas or Compact RN license2+ years recent acute-care cardiac leadership (charge / assistant manager / manager)Experience in Magnet or Pathway to Excellence environmentsBLS and ACLS (or within organization timelines)Preferred
