Title : CT Technologist

Location : Charleston, SC

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 30 AM – 06 : 00 PM), Monday–Thursday

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient cases, as well as support for cardiac, interventional, and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures, including abdomen / pelvis, chest, brain perfusion, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans.
  • Assist with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainages, and myelography.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs.
  • Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precaution standards.
  • Operate and maintain Siemens Force, Go.Top, and Definition AS scanners.
  • Utilize Epic for charting and PACS / Sectra for image processing.
  • Float between buildings and assist sister facilities as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience (6 months Level I Trauma experience required).
  • Certifications : ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and South Carolina State License (SCRQSA).
  • Proficiency with Siemens equipment and Epic charting.
  • Must provide own radiation badge (facility does not supply).

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a teaching hospital environment.
  • Skills in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement.
  • Experience with IR / Angio or special procedures.
