About The Position

Must-Have :

• IV Experience
• Competence in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures

Description :

Level 1 Trauma required.

Client Pre-Screens clinical recommendations.

Candidates must pass a DYS exam prior to acceptance.

Travel teams must have their own vehicles.

Natural hair color and no facial piercings are required.

Men must be clean-shaven for fit tests.

Candidates must complete a pass / fail exam during the first day of orientation.

All RNs will be expected to complete a SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Those who break sterile field may be terminated during SIMs Lab.

The hospital expects all nurses to be competent in maintaining a sterile field.

Common diagnoses include gyn surgeries, pre-liver transplant, ESRD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and diabetes.

The unit has a ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients.

The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment.

Floating to any MedSurg / telemetry floor may be required.

The hospital is equipped with 24 / 7 RT and pharmacy services.
