Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee land surveying projects from start to finish.
  • Provide technical oversight for field crews and office staff.
  • Prepare, review, and certify plats, boundary surveys, ALTA / NSPS surveys, and construction staking.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal surveying regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate results on time.
  • Mentor junior survey staff and promote professional development.

Qualifications

  • Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Minnesota (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive surveying experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS, and robotic total stations.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying laws, standards, and practices.
