American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Lexington, Kentucky.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of cath lab experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab unit
  • Day shift schedule : 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30
  • Duties include circulating, conscious sedation, and scrubbing
  • Requires participation in at least 2 weekends of call per 8 week period
  • Travelers may be required to float to different units
  • EPIC charting system is used
  • Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and providing conscious sedation for cath lab procedures
  • Assigned modules must be completed during orientation and annually
  • Modules are logged through DevelopYou
  • Return staff must wait 2 years before being eligible to return as a traveler
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Participation in annual and specialty-specific training modules is required

    • Requirements

  • Active KY or compact RN license in hand
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Submission requires two references
  • Submission requires copies of Driver’s License and Social Security card
  • Travelers must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
