Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students across grades K-12 in a contract role spanning the full 25 / 26 school year. This position involves a caseload encompassing the entire K-12 spectrum, providing comprehensive speech and language services within a school setting.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts supporting student success
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as appropriate to enhance service accessibility
Qualifications and Experience :
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or relevant credentials for SLPAsExperience in pediatric speech-language therapy, both in healthcare and school environmentsKnowledge of teletherapy modalities and best practicesFamiliarity with K-12 school caseload management and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleaguesCompliance with state licensure requirements for speech-language pathology or assistanceLocation : This full-time role is located in Caldwell, Texas, serving a dynamic K-12 educational community.
