Position Summary

Leadership-oriented Pilot in Command for Gulfstream G150 flight department operating out of Peachtree DeKalb Airport (PDK) in the North Atlanta Metro. The ideal candidate is engaging, cooperative and a dynamic team member, that aims to support the needs of the aircraft operation. This individual will need to possess a strong focus on safety combined with a can-do approach which is essential for success.

Requirements :

FAA-issued Pilot certificate with multi-engine rating
Total Time = 2000 hours
PIC = 500 hours
Time in Type (G150) : 200 hours
G150 type rating
Current, and ability to maintain, FAA first-class medical
Up-to-date immunization record
Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of Atlanta Metro.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Ensuring that the aircraft is airworthy, registered and that the required documentation is onboard the aircraft

Check weather and all applicable NOTAMs, where available, and determines fuel, oil and oxygen requirements

Determine the aircraft weight and balance

Ensure that all flight planning requirements have been met

Ensure that aircraft crew members have valid licenses, medical certificates, passports, and visas (when required)

Complete an aircraft preflight inspection before each departure

Coordinate with Dispatch, Maintenance, other crew members, and external agencies in the planning and execution of flight duties

Operate the aircraft per standard operating procedures, aircraft limitations, and in accordance with applicable FAA rules and regulations

Maintain currency requirements by type and ensures the currency of aircraft crewmembers prior to flight

Ensure compliance with customs, immigration and applicable laws

Lead the crew utilizing appropriate crew resource management in the accomplishment of all trip requirements

Complete all post flight duties, including submitting expense reports

Records flight times and aircraft maintenance items

Compensation : $140,000 - $180,000
