Rotational Manufacturing Process Engineer

Hypertherm Associates is seeking Manufacturing Process Engineers (MPE) to join our team. The rotational program consists of 3-4 six-month rotations with different teams in the Hanover, NH area to gain an enterprise perspective of our processes and meet many associates across Hypertherm, accelerating your growth and development within the organization.

You will be responsible for ensuring the manufacture of high-quality products and efficient processes, including multi-axis CNC machines, manual and automated pressing / assembly equipment, as well as laser marking and packaging equipment. You will also lead process improvement projects and initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma practices to enhance quality, reduce cost, improve safety, and increase earnings for our 100% Associate-owned organization.

Who You Are And The Experience You Bring

  • Hold a BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • Completed at least one internship or co-op in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experienced in defining work methods and driving process improvements.
  • Ensure safety procedures are integrated into production workflows.
  • Provide daily technical support, equipment training, and troubleshooting for production teams.
  • Monitor quality and production metrics, lead corrective actions, and design tooling and workstations.

Preferred Experience

  • Lean, kaizen events, and Six Sigma concepts
  • Programming and configuring digital manufacturing solutions such as ERP and MES
  • Statistical analysis experience
  • Location : Hanover, NH (Relocation assistance provided)

    $65,551.00-$109,254.00 Annual

    This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
