AlphaCAM Programmer - Packaging Design

(Direct Placement for Client)

• Salary : $$90,000-$125,000k

Primary Function :

AlphaCAM Programmer – Packaging Design (Foam) will be responsible for the design and development of custom foam tool trays used in packaging solutions. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires proficiency with AlphaCAM, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, with AlphaCAM being the primary software tool. The programmer / engineer will work independently as part of a small, collaborative team within a larger organization. The ideal candidate will have experience designing with foam materials such as polyethylene or urethane and will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and precision in design execution

Work Environment :

ENGINEERING : Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation.  Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients or suppliers.

SIGMA DESIGN has collaborated with a packaging and crating company seeking an experienced AlphaCAM Programmer   to join their facility in Tualatin, OR. This company has provided innovative and cost-effective design, crating, packaging, and global logistics for over 70 years.
