Regional Manager

Job Summary : Oil Changers Inc. is seeking a dedicated Regional Manager for the Salt Lake City area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of related experience in the automotive service and management field, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high-quality service standards, and fostering a positive work environment. This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 to $70,000 yearly, with potential bonuses based on performance, as well as insurance, dental, and other benefits upon probation completion.
Reporting Relationship : The Regional Manager reports directly to the Territory Business Director.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement strategic and financial plans to maximize profitability.
- Monitor key operating statistics to identify opportunities for financial improvement.
- Lead by fostering transparent and effective communication from top to bottom, ensuring that all levels of the organization are aligned and informed.
- Achieve company goals by maximizing location manager and employee performance through coaching and performance management.
- Recruit, develop, and retain location managers and staff, ensuring compliance with company training standards.
- Maintain a team environment through empowerment, recognition, trust, and respect.
- Promote business growth by identifying marketing opportunities and executing marketing programs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Greet customers and communicate clearly and professionally any changes in repairs that would affect cost and / or delivery expectations.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high-quality service.
- Establish and maintain customer follow-up programs to confirm customer satisfaction with their service experience.
- Ensure top-notch service during oil changes and maintenance tasks while encouraging regular service return visits.
- Complete weekly quality assurance inspections and review paperwork submitted by shop staff.
- Perform maintenance checks and assure tools and supplies availability.
- Understand the computer system and assure full utilization for daily operations.
- Train managers in ordering procedures and inventory control.
- Develop fleet lead account identification process and fleet acquisition plan.
- Make recommendations for improving production methods and equipment performance.
- Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Recruit, hire and motivate qualified team members. Assist the development and mentor team members to support regional leadership.
- Provide technical support for managers and team members when necessary.
- Schedule technicians for daily repair work that match their skill level to ensure quality as well as scheduling off time.
- Ensure that all employees receive appropriate company training.
- Review and approve weekly store schedules.
Qualifications :
1 year experience district / area managing multi units OR 5 years industry experience with 3 years of management experience.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to recruit, train, and develop a diverse team of employees.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, must meet the insurability guidelines set forth by the insurance carrier.Ability to maintain a satisfactory customer ranking and increase sales.Must have a reliable vehicle for daily use and be able to travel from store to store.Physical Capabilities :
Manual dexterity for handling tasks.Ability to stand, walk, lift, and drive as necessary.Visual and auditory acuity required for job duties.Work Environment :
