About The Position

Job Title : Echocardiography Technologist

Certifications : BLS, RDCS or RCS

Must-Have : Experience with Adult Trans Thoracic Echos, Stress Echos, and Trans Esophageal Echos

Description :

The position is for an Echocardiography Technologist in a clinical setting.

The technologist will perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, including complete and limited studies.

Stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms may also be required.

The average number of studies performed is 6-8 per day.

Knowledge of EMR and PACS systems is essential, as the department uses Epic and McKesson software.

The department is equipped with Philips Epiq and Philips IE33 machines.

There will be a need for the technologist to start IVs if they have the capability.

The schedule will typically involve 8-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with variable days, weekends, and holidays.

On-call coverage may be required with a response time of 30 minutes.

Scrubs are not provided, and no specific color is mandated for uniforms.

The department will provide orientation on procedures and policies.
