Weapons System Training Support Specialist

Strata-G Solutions is seeking a Weapons System Training Support Specialist. This position will provide expert

technical and instructional support to ensure operational readiness of U.S. military units in the Javelin Weapon System. The incumbent will deliver hands-on training, perform preventive maintenance, support software integration, and develop training materials in alignment with approved doctrine. This position will require coordination with Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and other program stakeholders to ensure mission success.

What You'll Do

Provide hands-on training to U.S. military units on the Javelin Weapon System

Support operational training missions at unit locations and training centers

Conduct preventive maintenance (PMCS) to keep systems mission-ready

Perform software updates and checks to ensure full operational capability

Develop and deliver training materials using the System Approach to Training (SAT) model

Coordinate with TRADOC and program stakeholders to align training with approved doctrine

What We're Looking For

4+ years operating and maintaining the Javelin Weapon System (or similar systems)

Prior U.S. military service with weapons training, instruction, or maintenance experience

Strong knowledge of PMCS and hardware / software integration

Ability to deliver effective training aligned with Army doctrine

Working knowledge of the SAT model or equivalent instructional design methods

Strong communication and organizational skills

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills

Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) graduate or equivalent

Javelin Master Gunner or advanced weapons certification

Deployment experience with Javelin or similar systems

Experience with simulation trainers (BST, EPBST) and live-fire support
